Overcoming No Further Stay - 8503 Condition for a Parent Visa Onshore

My mother had arrived in Australia on a Visitor visa which had condition 8503 – “No Further Stay” attached. Despite this visa condition I still wanted my mother to remain in Australia, so I contacted AHC lawyers to help me find a solution to this problem. Jason and the AHC team instantly strategised a pathway for my mother to stay in Australia through a Sponsored Parent (subclass 870) visa. They sent submissions to the Department to both waive condition 8503 and apply for ministerial waiver to lodge the subclass 870 visa onshore, both of which were successful. I just received the news that my mother’s subclass 870 visa was granted so highly recommend AHC lawyers to anyone seeking migration advice.
