Replacing Direction 81 with Direction 86 – Certain Skilled Migration Visas – Processing Order.

The Minister for Immigration, the Hon Davin Coleman MP, replaced Direction 81 with Direction 86 – the order cases are processed as of 16 November 2019 are as follows:

 

Processing priority – Nominations

  1. Employer Sponsored or Regional Sponsored Labour Agreement (DAMA or Global Talent Program Agreement)

  2. 494 nominations (Accredited Status and LA)

  3. 494 nominations (others)

  4. All other Employer Sponsored nominations (Accredited Status and LA)

  5. All other Employer Sponsored nominations (others)

  6. 187 nominations (Accredited Status)

  7. 187 nominations (non-Accredited status)

Processing priority – Visas (124,186,187,189,190,489,491,494,858)

  1. Employer Sponsored or Regional Sponsored Labour Agreement (DAMA or Global Talent Program Agreement) and all other Global Talent Program applicants

  2. 494 (Accredited Status and LA)

  3. 494 (others)

  4. 491 (Points based skilled work regional)

  5. All other Employer Sponsored (Accredited Status and LA)

  6. All other Employer Sponsored (others)

  7. 187 (Accredited Status)

  8. 187 (non-Accredited status)

  9. 489 (Skilled Regional)

  10. 190 (Skilled Nominated)

  11. 189 (Skilled Independent) Points (Not NZ)

  12. All other visa applications 

Exceptions

AAT remits and set-asides, readily apparent failures, MOFU subsequent applicants of visa holder, subclass 489 second provisional stream, subclass 189 NZ stream.
