Finding a Nominator for the Global Talent Visa Program

You may be endorsed by the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Global Business and Talent Attraction team. However, this may not be easy to achieve as Peter Verwer AO, the appointed Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Global Business and Talent Attraction, stated that such endorsement is only available for those who are super-extraordinarily-talented and well-known person such as those listed/featured in highly acclaimed publications and journals.

Most of the prospective applicants for the Global Talent Visa Program will not meet such unattainable requirement, hence, they must be nominated by an eligible individual or organisation with a national reputation in their field using the nomination for distinguished talent form.

The nominator will endorse your achievements and international standing. We understand that finding a nominator is not always an easy task as most of the eligible applicants lack business or personal connections with Australian individuals or organizations which are eligible as nominators. Hence, our firm offers services to help our eligible clients find suitable nominators who can assist them in the nomination process.

Submitting the Expression of Interest for the Global Talent Visa Program

Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) is the very first step of the Global Talent Visa Program for all eligible prospective applicants. It is crucial to get it right as only candidates who can provide a strong case at EOI level will draw the attention of the Department and get invited to apply for the visa. This means that an impressive presentation of the candidate at the EOI level can make a huge difference in standing out from the crowds.

With the growing number of interests and applications, finding a migration agent or immigration lawyer to assist you with your application is imperative. Immigration Lawyers or RMAs can help present your accolade and career milestones in a way that when the Department receives it, they know that they are dealing with the Crème de la Crème.

It is not recommended that you prepare for your own EOI even though you think you are eligible for the Global Talent Visa Program. It has been advised that people are strongly not recommended to just fill in the form and apply for it (EOI) , however you will need to accompany the EOI with legal submission and all supporting, strong evidence so that your chance of getting invited is optimised. This is where we, as your representative, play a role. If a strong case is not presented, it is highly likely that the Department will not invite you.

Why should I apply for the Global Talent Visa Program?

The application can be made in Australia or outside Australia. Applicants who are granted a visa under the Global Talent Visa Program can freely enter Australia without travel exemption and will be subject to 14-days mandatory quarantine. Furthermore, if you are holding a Hong Kong passport and you are a visa applicant applying for this visa, your application will be prioritised.

The application processing time is faster. The estimated time for the grant of the Global Talent Pathway is between 73 days and 3 months making it one of the quickest options to obtain permanent residency in Australia.
