Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) Announced
On 3 September 2020, the Department of Home Affairs announced 17 occupations that would fall under the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL). These occupations are identified to fill critical skills shortages which would support the economic recovery post-COVID-19. This PMSOL has the affect to prioritize applications within the employer-sponsored nomination and visa application:
Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494)
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) visa (subclass 187)
This list is subject to changes and is only temporary. Thus, should you fall within any of these occupations you should seek professional advice immediately so that you can be prioritized.

What sort of priorities can you receive?
A - If you are a sponsored worker in these occupations and are currently overseas then you can request an exemption from Australia’s travel restrictions.
B – Priority processing of these applications so you can expect a decision much faster
