Will I be Ban from Australia if I Leave on a BVE?
A Bridging Visa E (BVE) (Subclass 050) allows unlawful individuals to continue to stay in Australia. It is also an option for individuals who are waiting to leave the country voluntarily after their visa has been cancelled or has expired.
Will I be Barred from Australia if I Leave on a BVE?
Yes, in most cases, if you leave Australia while holding a BVE, you may face a re-entry ban. Generally, this ban lasts for 3 years and prevents you from entering Australia during that time, even if you apply for another visa.
Why a Re-entry Ban May Apply for BVE holders?
Leaving on a BVE can be interpreted as acknowledging a prior breach of visa conditions, such as overstaying or being unlawful. Then, if the individual is holding a bridging visa C (BVC) (Subclass 030), bridging visa D (BVD) (Subclass 040), BVE or unlawful and left Australia, they may be subjected to re-entry ban.
