WA State Nomination: What Are the Minimum Requirements for Graduate Stream?

What is the Graduate Stream for Western Australia Skilled Migration Program? 

The Graduate Stream is a skilled migration pathway designed for eligible international students who have completed vocational education and training (VET) or higher education qualifications in Western Australia.

What Are the Eligibility Criteria for the Graduate Stream? 

To be considered for an invitation to apply for State nomination under the Graduate Stream, candidates must: 

  • Occupation Eligibility: Have an occupation listed as available and eligible for the intended visa subclass on the Graduate Occupation List (GOL). 

  • Educational Qualifications

    • Have gained a Certificate III or higher qualification in Western Australia. 

    • Complete at least two years of full-time study in Western Australia at a recognised institution, such as:

      • TAFE (Technical and Further Education) 

      • A registered training provider 

      • An English language provider
