ACS and VETASSESS Assess New ANZSCO Occupations for Work Visas
The new Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) replaced the Temporary Skill Shortage Visa and incorporated the new Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL), which includes 456 new and old occupations. The CSOL also applies to the Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 186) - Direct Entry stream visa, which opens up new opportunities for individuals to take on a pathway to permanent residency (PR). Visa applicants are required to have a positive skills assessment to meet the skills and qualifications required for the nominated occupation for Subclass 482 and 186.
VETASSESS and the Australian Computer Society (ACS) have announced that they are now accepting assessments for new occupations added to CSOL from late January 2025 onwards.
VETASSESS added 20 occupations
ACS added 10 occupations
