Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL): What Occupations are New and Removed?
The Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL) replaced the previous occupation list (STSOL & MLTSSL) on 07 December 2024. The CSOL includes 456 occupations containing old and new occupations.
The CSOL services as the main occupation list for Skills in Demand (SID) (Subclass 482) and Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) (Subclass 186) Visa – Direct Entry (DE) Stream. With the increase of occupations from 216 to 456 occupations for ENS (DE) visa, this change gives applicants a significant chance to directly apply and obtain permanent residence (PR) through this pathway.
